    So, where's Kevin located?
    P.S.-never mind...just saw he's from Walpole.

Kev-I may have some work for you...I have a 97 ZX900R Ninja w/Hindle slip-on. Since I dont know you or your work other than what I read here, mind my asking your level of expertise? Are you a MC mechanic by trade? I would appreciate some insight into what work you perform. Thanks in advance.

    BTW, anyone seen "Rye" around?

Anywho, I want to get a factory jet kit, have it installed, my carbs synched, and my valve clearances checked.

Anyone know of a place that does really good work?

Toss all the emmissions crap in the trash yet?

I too am looking for a mechanic I can trust. Jet kit/ ignition advance, and even front suspension upgrade planned for mine.
Most shops are hit or miss. First you get an honest mechanic that knows what you want, next is some teenager trying to get your oil drain plug out with vise grips!

KMF. Hope to talk to you at some point
At this point the only people I will let do the thing to my bike that I can't, ie sync carbs, is Green River Power Sports and Valley Motorsports.......All about an hour and a half from my house. Even there is hit or miss (as I was helping one of their mechanics with mounting new tires on my bike!)
I have my own tools and generally mechanically inclined, but I rather not go in blindly and inexperienced for jet kit installation which I want to do ASAP.

You'll pick up a few ponies, but the power delivery will be SOOOOO friggen smooth. It'll idle better too...I'll dig up the link and post it 4 U

Yeah, we'll pull that restrictive metal screen off your airfilter too...THAT effects the idle as well
