    Question Blinker questions

Got a couple quick questions for ya. Picked up a set of flush mount led blinkers off of ebay and realize I need a resistor to slow down the flash rate. So question is one are these legal and two anybody know anywhere local that sells the resistors? Just so I don't have to order them online.
    Thanks

    Re: Blinker questions

They are not legal but there are places that will pass them.

Also, I have two resistors that are yours if you want 'em.

Working in Nashua Thursday but after that you gotta trek up my way a bit or wait til Monday.

    Re: Blinker questions

Todd - another option would be to replace the flasher relay with an electronic one. They aren't terribly expensive and is a cleaner option (1 relay will fix whole bike vs. 4 resistors at each turn signal). May or may not be an option depending on the type of bike you have. Example

+2 on the relay. Simply unplug your old on and replace with the new electronic version. Don't get me wrong I enjoy soldering, but if I have the chance to plug something in instead I'm all for it.

I picked up mine from superbikesupply.com for $25.

+3 on the relay. did this with two of my bikes, way cleaner/easier.

ive used Lockhart Phillips and Grote flasher modules. both worked great. plug 'n play.
