Which brake pads for track days / racing?

    What are you guys running?
I have EBC HH and need to replace them, I see EBC are now making an "extreme" HH pad.
    Any feedback?

I'm running Galfer HH pads front and rear. Smooth and crisp braking, no fading.

Running EBC HH pads here. That's only because I run an obsolete bike and there is not a better option. I get a weekend (give or take) per set of pads. That's Friday practice, Sat practice & race, & Sunday practice + race. I'd assume 3 races + 4 practices + whatever we get on Friday is more than a TD worth of time? For $35-40 (I forget, brake pads are not the rough part of my race budget) it's a steal.

If you can swing the cash, Vesrah SRJL are the cash money... huge difference.

$150 I have been running mine for quite a while now and still plenty of meat.

Get them from Kurvey Girl, best price that I've found and quick service.

    +1 on the SRJL's
Better performance than the HH pads and lasted (for me at least) over twice as long, justifying the price.

I need to make a big, dangerous flycutter for the mill first, but it's on my list for the winter. You looking to do it in the offseason?

Sweet, I have a decent-sized granite surface plate for lapping... I swept it with a .0001 dial indicator and couldn't get the needle to move. It's good'n flat. Hawk parts?

Thanks for the feedback, I will check into the Vesrah, Carbon Lorraine was one brand I was thinking of, from the sounds and pricing of the new EBC extreme, thay should be similar to the Vesrah's.

I went back to EBC GFA HH pads after a poor experience with another pad. The GFA's last a quite bit longer and have better feel then the other pads (can't say which ones, so don't ask).
