I hate cleaning the drive chain, I think its such a pain in the ass. I came across this brush that might make the job easier. Was curious to know if anyone has it and how good it works.

I have that exact brush but haven't used it yet either!![]()
Let me know when you do. I'm curious to see if it's a gimic or it actually does the job.
I use this one, 1/2 the price of that one.
Pedro's toothbrush
It works but you still need the right cleaner. Some lubes are just harder to cleanup then others.
Also have this for bicycle chains, it works stunningly well, I have been meaning to look for one sized for motorcycle chains.

This tool is really fantastic, you think you would waste a lot of solvent with it but in actuality it saves a huge amount of solvent as it cleans the chain nearly 100% without spilling any on the floor, and one fill is good for 2-3 chains.
holy crap!!
There is a MC scrubber by a company called Moose but it is not quite the same design as this Pedros one and supposedly doesn't work so well.
The one I posted you clamp it onto the chain and then move the chain through it from left to right. The first wheel is a hard brush that hits the side plates, it has baffles that splash the solvent into the chain, the 2nd too wheels clean the connecting pins, and then the last thing on the right is a sponge which removes the solvent & grease as the chain passes out. Works like a champ, 2-3 revolutions through the scrubber and the chain is essentially perfectly clean again.
The moose one only has one wheel and doesn't look like it has a pickup for the solvent.
I have that Grunge brush...
its great... you still need hit it with some solvent
the citrus based stuff is good and then some good pressure with a regular hose to get the dirt particles
off. Then air blast it dry, then relube.

Disposable, and I consider it recycling....I use if for two purposes before it gets tossed!!
I have something like that. Only problem is I have never found a single shop that carries the solvent for it.Originally posted by benVFR
