need carb help ASAP!

I have someone coming to look @ my GSXR 1100 tomorrow, I started it a few minutes ago and the Tee-adapter thingy between cylinders 3 & 4 is pissing gas !

Anyone have an idea why gas would be leaking from the tee?

Not an expert, but it sounds like your floats are stuck. Tap the sides of the float bowls with a piece of would or something that wont damage them, that should break them loose...

that is assuming the T thingy you mention is the carb over flow.

don't just beat the carbs with a stick, though it will work in a pinch. what they really need is a good cleaning and maybe a rebuild kit with new needles and seats. don't forget to check and adjust float height before reassembly.

Yup, talked to TLRman and tried tapping the bowls and removed the number 4 cylinder bowl. Float on the number 4 cylinder seemed fine, couldn't get the number 3 cylinder bowl off w/the carbs on the bike.

Guess I'll cancel the sale of the bike
