    Chain info

I need to replace my chain, its 4 seasons old now and looks like it streched alot the past year, currently I have a DID 530 X ring chain, I paid about 160.00 for it, I will be replacing it very soon, I was wondering if you guys think I need that caliber of chain or go with something cheaper? I am all for saving a few bucks but i don't want to buy a chain that will be junk in no time or worse break and break my case!!!!!

    Thanks
    Justin

4 seasons means nothing... how many miles?

either way, worked out to less than the cost of an oil change per season... i'd go safe for a street bike, rather than try to pinch out and save $10/season and have it snap and fly through my crank case or lock up my rear wheel.

EK MVXZ is a high quality chain.
Depending on your miles and sprocket wear you may want to change it all as a set.

EK makes a excellent chain, just size it for your bike + tensile strength. I have had mine on there for 46,000 miles & it is still going strong.
