Click click but no turn?

My '95 ZX7 was last started january 5th, and it ran completely fine. I came back down to school the next day. My father tried to start my bike two weeks ago. It had been sitting since Jan 5th... The starter clicks, but apparently there is no turnover or engine-attempt. The battery was freshly charged. Is it possible the carbs are all gunky now and thats whats causing this? Or should I start looking into this as a starter issue?

I won't be able to look at it personally until June 1st but I was looking for any 'heads up' on things that could cause it to not start now after sitting in a shed for only 3 months.

definitely not the carbs, your engine would turn over. sounds a lot like starter to me.

Check for a loose connection - battery connections, cables, etc. It might be the battery itself - older batteries can take a charge, but not give enough amperage. If you have a set of jumper cables or a booster try that.

Sounds like a dead battree. Leave the charger hooked on and see if it'll turn over.

I'd bet its the battery.
Sometimes you get enough power to get the solenoid to click but
not enough to get the starter to turn.

Take a volt meter to your battery and see its output.
Should be over 12.

Obviously check the battery...

Now for another couple lessons on these things...key in ignition...jiggle key when in ign barrell while hitting the starter button. Sometimes you gotta hit the starter button a couple times for it to catch.

Battery (if not reading 12V+ after charging), then starter and/or starter solenoid. You can try jumping the starter with a screwdriver to eliminate the solenoid.

sometimes with my old zx6r i'd have to lean the bike over way on the left and star ther over.. it was a combo battery/ carb thing
