OK, I tried doing searches for info on clutches, but every search I did resulted in hundreds of threads that had nothing to do with what I'm looking for.
So, I'll ask this in a new thread...
How do you know when it's time for a new clutch? My cable is adjusted so the clutch if fully engaged and has very little cable tension when the lever is released. I have about 1/8"-1/4" play in the lever when it's all the way out.
But, the clutch is only grabbing when the lever is about 3/4 of the way out and gets a little worse when it's warmed up.
Are there adjustments that a bike mechanic can do that will allow the clutch to grab sooner? Or is my clutch on its way out?
