    does anyone here have one that i could borrow?

    am i correct in presuming that you mean an automotive clutch pressure plate tool?


    i never saw a tool for a bike's pressure plate..

    no i ment for a motorcycle looking through the manual it says i need a clutch pressure plate tool to hold it while loosing the clutch sleeve hub nut

    If you're using an impact wrench you should be able to just leave the old plates in there grab onto the outside of the basket with your hand and zip the nut off.

    If your using hand tools you can take a couple of the old steel plates and a pair of vice grip pliers and make your own tool.

    Double check - it may be left handed...

    i dunno what a clutch pressure plate tool is, but i managed to change out my plates without one i guess

    To remove the hub you'll need a clutch tool, but just to remove the pressure plate you don't need one.

    Actually, if you have an impact wrench you don't need the clutch tool either.
