thanks. no pics yet. wont be able to take them till this weekend. its definitely dented enough that a trip to empiregp should repair. the one time i tie down by the handle bars, the damn grip slides off the bar. bike fell over onto my peddle bike. Peddle + Tank = dented tank

You can use a compressor and pressurize it until the dents pop out...

or, the safer way... I made a 1" dia delrin rod, and I put it through the fuel pump orifice, and tap it to get dents popped out somewhat, then use bondo/glaze to get it perfect.
