Need to do my fork seals w/ questions

So my right fork seal is fucked and since it's the end of october I'm just going to put her away for the winter and start my winter tear down and what not. I'm planning on sending them out but have yet to decide if I'm going to make the 636 a race bike or just keep it as a street/track ride. Question is what should I be looking at getting done to them? If I got a spring/internals kit set for my weight would I be wasting money if I just ended up street/tracking it? And what would be the major difference in settup and components from a street/tack bike VS a race bike?

Probably very little difference between the street revalve and the track revalve at first. As you get faster and mash on the brakes more you might end up adding in more compression but thats probably pretty far off to be honest. Youre probably good until like 14s or 13s at loudon. Or you could be a little odd like me. Ive gone the opposite way to get faster.

Call up race tech and ask them about your options. They can look up the specs on your bike and figure out how far off you are, if any. Have you noticed any shortcomings in your suspension? I've been bugged by the setup on my bike this season, so I called race tech and found out that the rear shock on my bike is pretty much already set up for my weight. But the front end is set for someone about 20-30lbs lighter. You may need work you may not, but I wouldn't spend the money till you find out how far off your bike is.

Shoot PK and/or Mike Martire a PM or email(s) and get their opinions on your options.

Can't go wrong by asking the experts.

Penske internals or GMD internals, I got GMD and ride street and track, noticed improvement immediately after having the internals changed

I'm running Penske internals on the 1000RR and there was a considerable difference in feel from stock.
