That's almost not even funny, though I almost want to laugh! I guess it's beter than..hey my bike has 8k miles and I've only changed the oil and filter once
I have been slacking a bit myself and have only been cleaning+lubing the chain every other ride. I normally clean/lube it before every ride, and I use WD40 as a cleaner and a lube

Yea... you need $200 to do both, right? Or is that the big fix? I can't remember... after the beer, beer, beer, burger, then beer... I don't remember all the details! But I would love for you to fix my openers! I thought about it today when I pulled into my driveway and looked at the garage as I walked around to the front of the house, lol!
If you ain't first......you're last!
No the parts are cheaper than I thought, I can get everything to get both going for like 60-80 bucks but I'll split it with you for the booze and the hospitality. Do you want a key chain remote for the bike as well?
Me do anything that involves labor?
Seriously it's gonna take five minutes, or longer depending how long it takes me to work up the nerve to ride up your driveway.
I'll clean your chain. But when it comes to lubing, you gotta hold the tip and put it where you want it to learn how to cover everything correctly.

I gave up on chain maintenance 7 or 8 years ago, time consuming for no benefit, chain & sprockets only lasted 15k or so, after I stopped maintaining (clean lube adjust) my chain, and left it for my dealer at routine 3500-4000 miles service, my chain & sprockets began to last 30k-35k

i just did my chain today... I had 900 miles on the R6 before cleaning it and lubing it. I had lubed it before without cleaning it though which is usually what I do (lube every 300-500 miles, and clean it every other time I lube it).
I use Motorex chain clean- it smells awesome. Then go for a 5 min. blast, which makes it smell even better- and then spray on some chain lube. I used to use Repsol chain lube but that was kinda messy- now I use the Maxima chain wax and that stuff is pretty sweet (smells better too).
Grunge brush for accumulated rust or stuff like that, but if it's just a layer of dirt the Chain clean gets it off just by spraying and spinning the wheel.
I kinda like cleaning the chain... when it's dirty I hate the way it sounds, and when it's all lubed and clean it's so much smoother. I think it's worth it. If you choose the right products you don't even get your hands dirty.

All in jest my friend
I use " PJ1 Blue Label chain lube" .What I do is wash the chain in hot soap water.Let it air dry a day or so.Then lube withPJ1.You know I let jnm988 her chain was looking kinda rusty on the inside.I wonder I she has lube it yet??? As for me my I have a shaft drive!!! Or you could do the "AUTO LUBE thing" by putting a pin hole in your output shaft seal behind the front sprocket. Then the oil just catches the chain and you in.But of course you have to check your tranny oil level

chris. i clean my chain every 300-400 miles. it's recommended by the manufacter to do so. you are a torque nut (no pun intended). you want every bolt to torque specs. i dont bust your balls, even though i should.
i cant help it if i hit 300-400 miles faster than you and dummy denno on your R6's
