So I'm so frikkin shell shocked from having this trouble for almost
a year now that I'm still not believing anything, till its good for more
than a day but so far so good!
One of the leads inside there was toasted pretty good and the plastic around it
was melted. Just that the cap was hiding all this crazy action from prying eyes. So I took my mom's old jeweler's files and reamed that baby out and slapped a bunch of diaelectric grease in there, and BANG! The turn signals work right and the head lights go right on and the bike stays running.
excuse my language... but Mother Fucker! I am one happy camper!
Thanks to everyone that helped me along the way... Degs, Rambunctous, ScubaSteve, R1, GixerHP, Bergs, wiggeywackyo, Chippy, JoeSwamp, drop, hondarider etc... You guys all make this place more than just an electronic forum and I really appreciate it! I'll even give props to Pete Oreo for the wise cracks and reminding me to have some humor in this situation... it really was a tough one to crack... Alot of money and time went down the drain in this one. But who cares now. I'm a bit wiser for it I hope!
Cheers! And all you 600RR owners who ride in the rain alot... if you get strange behavior, check that yellow ground junction on the left side of the bike on the main harness its a problem area!
