    Exhaust install question

I really really really want to order some new cans for the VFR, namely the Lasers.

Would look like this, by the way(if the image works):

So the exhaust itself is kind of pricey, and supposedly a pain in the ass to install...I don't have the patience, tools, and would probably screw it up if I made an attempt.

My question is, where is a good place to get an install done in the area? I'd love to find someone who does this stuff on the side, but if not just a good shop where I could save $$ over the Honda dealer.

    Exhaust install question

i did my own install on my vfr. carbon remus. i had more trouble straiting the new hangers that got bent in the delivery then the install itself. you should have got them before i sold my house, could have installed them in my garage. i have all the tools needed.

the lasers are crazy expensive. i'm not to down with the rocket look on the viffer. they do look nice on some bikes though. wait till you hear your bike with some real pipes. sounds so sweet campared to the electric super quite stockers.

There are also a lot of guys drilling out the stock exhausts.

Keep in mind you can get the Erion Cans, a Power Commander, and O2 Eliminators for less then the cost of those Laser cans. You might even have enough money left over to get the bike dynotuned.

No one has really independently dynoed all the VFR cans but it's pretty doubtful the Lasers would produce the most power. (Even though they look the coolest)

Whenever I get around to it I'm probably going to get the Erions, not only are they one of the least expensive with one of the highest claimed horsepower gains, but if you are an HRCA member there is an additional discount which is pretty substantial, it's like 10-15% off. And if you bought your VFR new in the last year you are automatically an HRCA member for the first year.
