External fuel pump install, hard??

Getting an aftermarket tank for my track bike. I was told that I would need to install an external fuel pump because the aftermarket tank does not have a flange. Is this a tough install? Is this something worth considering?

just buy an oem tank and save yourself a ton of hassle.

Are we talking a carb or EFI setup? Carb is easy to setup with an electric or vacuum operated unit externally, EFI is a different game completely.

What kitt said, a banged up oem woulda be so much easier.

A banged up OEM tank is so much cheaper. I ended up not buying the fiberglass tank. They wanted $600.

A $600 tank with no provision for a fuel pump? Stay far away from something like that.
