    Figuring out a spring rate....

So I bought an r6 shock off of someone and they weren't exactly sure of the spring rate... I pulled it apart and took a look at the top of the spring. It says 525 - 529 and apparently it is a hyperco spring.

I've done a little bit of research, but can't seem to convert that to a spring rate I understand. Anyone have any idea?

    Isn't that the spring rate? 525 lb/in?

525lb rated. 529 is what it actually measures.
