    Fork You

How hard is it to rebuild forks? bushing and seals..

    Is this something done easily?

I may be able to buy a bike pretty cheap but those need to be rebuilt but the person already has the bushing and seals to go with it...

    easy? hard? go fork yourself?

Damper rod forks 6 on a 1 to 10 scale. Cartridge fork? Don't touch it. Leave it to experts.

Then in that case. Just grab a flat head screwdriver and a pair of vice grips and have at it.

If the fork legs are NOT all scratched and dinged

I would say if you hand them to someone (off the bike) it shouldn't be more than $250

Easy enough job, download a manual or parts diagram, if you understand it, you can do it!
