    Fuel Injected SRAD Keeps Dying

I've got this 98 SRAD 750 (first year of FI) that I just can't get to stay running.
When the issue first happened I bumped the idle up a little bit and put 5 miles on it around town. Seemed ok.

When I got home, as soon as I put it on the kickstand the idle started falling slowly. It got under 1000 then hit 5-600 before I shut it off.

Is this a sign of a failing fuel pump? What else should I look at? I set the throttle position sensor using the dealer mode per the manual.

I'm about to bring it to the shop with carte blanche

Pinched fuel line or blocked fuel cap vent will do that. See if it happens with the fuel cap open and the tank propped up a little. If it still does it, I'd check the screen in the fuel tank attached to the pump.

I'll give it a shot when I get home. If the vent is blocked, is not allowing the fuel to actually flow?

Could be crapped out fuel lines. Late 90's fuel line was very susceptible to ethanol damage in boats, might be the same for bikes.

Yes. If the cap vent is blocked, it will cause a vacuum and fight the pump. When this happens, if you open the cap, you get the whooshing sound of air rushing into the tank.

I should just tell it to make itself great again. Best looking bike from the 90s.

Exactly. Except for the good looking part.

The hottest bike from the 90’s is the 996, imo.

    Woah woah. You're just wrong.

    For example the 1993 ZX7.

R7 gets an honorable mention, but in my world, a motorcycle should never have more than two cylinders.
