    Galfers vs Vesrah?

I have 2 pairs of brake pads sitting in front of me and I'm trying to decide which one to put on my R6? What do they go for new and which is considered better?

need more info. which compounds are they? I've run Galfer HH in my old bike and they were fine. not sure what was in my 600 before, might have been stock and they were fine. switched to Vesrah SRJL-17 ($160 for both calipers) and they are awesome

I like the Vesrah RJL much more than the HH's I had prior.

    Re: Galfers vs Vesrah?

either should be fine. i'd do with whatever has more material left on it.
but like brett said, compound matters.

more importantly, what have those rotors been using?
if you're not resurfacing the rotors, they could get glazed if you keep switching compounds around.

Ive always like the vesrahs I used RJL on my RC51 street bike and the SRJL on my R6 race bike. Ton of stopping power and no fade and I liked the feedback.

One of those specific compounds and types are great for the type of riding you mentioned. But one is horrible, nearly dangerous to use for what you said.

Oh, I get it, it's a guessing game! I'll go first:

    Is it these Vesrah's?

If so, then no, they won't work well on your R6. Unless your R6 is a CB400.

    Is it these Galfers?

No, those are black compound and are best for the rear brakes. Oh...wait...you didn't mention which end of the bike. YAY! MORE GUESSING!

Brett...where did you find them for 160? Kurveygirl sells them for 250 a pair for a Daytona 675.

    Thanks!!
