Ductard will eventually buy these from the 'for sale' section on NESR.

and Iglu would say they need a price per forum rules.
Doc would then buy them for $x.xx and sell them the next week for $x.xx + $x.xx

The big thing they have going for them is they're non-conductive over the length of the tool. I'd be curious to see how chemical resistant they are.

    Nuh-uh. From the FAQ:

Q: Will the wrenches conduct electricity?
A: Yes, WARNING, DO NOT use the wrenches around anything that uses electricity, carbon fiber conducts electricity.
I was surprised to read that.

I had no idea either. You learn something new every day. That certainly makes them less useful.

CF absolutely is conductive. I've seen the aftermath of a 851 wrapped in CF bodywork that shorted through the fairings... very sad sight.

For some reason - and this is going to sound retarded - I thought CF only conducted electricity in one direction, i.e. from the top layer to the bottom layer. And that it wouldn't conduct end-to-end...

Re: for the gear head that has everything

    Just ordered a set.

I don't see much use for them in the tool box other than something conversational but the reason I bought was because I have a tool bag I keep in my truck and this would significantly reduce the weight if I could take out some of the other wrenches. I was also expecting them to be more than the price of snap-on but weren't even close so, sure why not give them a try!

Yeah I'm not that excited that they are only 12pt and not 6pt. If they made a set in 6pt I would have bought another set for my tool box but until now I'll see how these hold up. I am sure they will continue to develop the design (and hopefully make them ratcheting!!) which will mean the price will only go up. Worst case scenario I absolutely hate them and I sell them to Doc for $x.xx

Only for CCS, WERA requires an OEM toolbag.
