Have you guys seen the 72” ever on sale?
Big advantage on the 72” over the 54” ?

Years ago (July 2018) I got the 72" on sale for $1100. I haven't seen it on sale recently. The 72 holds more tools. And it has suspension to make it look cool and to flex on the smaller boxes.
Re: Harbor Freight tools that DON'T suck
For what it's worth I just ordered a husky heavy duty (thicker gauge metal) 72" box for 1199. 18 drawers.

What are you seeing for 52in and 58in? I couldnt find those measurements
But overall Husky is having a 25% BlackFriday sale on most items, that's about as good as you're going to get barring extreme rare discounts here and there.

I remember when researching years ago the harbor freight was reviewed better than the husky for better bearings and overall quality. Don't know how that has changed in the past few years.

Wouldn't be surprised. I like my toolbox but I've had bearing issues over the last ~6 years. Some literally fell apart, some have been stuck. Certainly not problem free.

I got a husky at Home Depot Black Friday last year. Absolutely love it. Keep an eye there also.
Re: Harbor Freight tools that DON'T suck

Re: Harbor Freight tools that DON'T suck
FYI the wrenches are excellent for hard to reach bolts and nuts. Buy a set if you wander into HF in the next few days.

Re: Harbor Freight tools that DON'T suck
just scored the inverter 9500 generator at Harbor Freight as a customer return for $750. only has 0.8 hours
Re: Harbor Freight tools that DON'T suck
I told myself I’d never buy life safety equipment at HF but I’ve been wanting a set of this style jack stand for a while and they had a 10% off Daytona coupon a couple weeks back. https://www.harborfreight.com/3-ton-...ads-58789.html
Then last week they had the 10% no exclusions coupon so I went back and picked up an Icon 1/2” torque wrench. https://www.harborfreight.com/12-in-...nch-64064.html
Now I’m just waiting for these Knipex knockoffs to be in stock at my local store… preferably with another coupon. https://www.harborfreight.com/10-in-...rip-58200.html

The knipex design is way better than channel lock. Jaws stay parallel since they are cammed. They work awesome when you don't want to mar the surface as well.
Re: Harbor Freight tools that DON'T suck
I have those knipex in small and large. They're awesome for working on my well and sprinkler system. Grip the large pvc without destroying anything.

i mounted mine in a more useful spot, rather than near the compressor. bought a 25 foot hose and used it as a lead from the reel to the compressor

Just pipe some tubing over to where you can mount the reel and leave the compressor where it is.
I have that reel too. Been about 10 years and still works fine. I did have to re Teflon tape it maybe 6 years to stop a leak at the rotary valve but that's it
