A helmet cleaning tip for all!

I have a HJC CL-SP in matte gray. The matte finish is oh-so-sexy, but always seemed to pick up any dirt/oil on my hands and/or gloves. I tried a bunch of different products to get the markings off my helmet, but nothing seemed to work.

Recently I thought I'd give that Mr. Clean magic eraser a try. One word: WOW.

All I had to do was get the magic eraser wet, wring it out, then wipe any of the dirty areas. The helmet looks brand new again, and it took all of two minutes.

I'd HIGHLY reccomend picking up a box of magic erasers for cleaning up your helmet, it works VERY well.

I'm also going to try it on some of the non-painted hard parts on my bike. I've heard it will do wonders on that as well.

Just thought I'd share. Oh, and I hope this isn't WTLW, I did search

I tried one of those magic erasers on my old girlfriend but it failed, and I had to have mine replaced earlier this year.

So, there are some things they don't work for, but thanks for the helmet tip.

If you had a dirty girlfriend , why would you try to clean her up?

You suck at life. Why don't you quit?

My dad told me I could be anything I wanted when I grew up. So I became an Asshole.

Sometimes if the performance is there, people can look past a few small details...

The fluids were changed often and it was ported and polished when I traded it in, it was very true , the rack was tight, but the suspension was going, it needed some work on the bottom end, and I could foresee it giving me head problems in the future.

    More then just details unfortunately.

Not to mention the replacement model I got was a tuner car, but I didn't know that till I drove it a few times. Now I can never go back to stock.

I hope you attached a photo to each one. I send lots of e-mails with a 2+meg attachment. Anything bigger could get kicked back and you would have to wait for them all.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
