    Help gas leak :(

just noticed a gas leak on my ex500. it seems to be coming for the gas valve. I notice a gas smell yesterday but I thought it might just be from when I filled up yesterday( I split a little gas on the tank)I did run out of gas( forgot to check the gas tank before I left for work) luckily I just pulled over and moved the valve to RES and filled my tank up and move it back to ON) but today when I went out side to check I saw this.

I have no idea of what to do (just got the bike two weeks ago)
anyone willing to give me a hand? or point me in the right direction thanks

You probably need to rebuild the petcock, especially where you happened to put it on reserve yesterday. Pretty cheap for a rebuild kit and relatively easy also.

Yup, or you can change the petcock to a manual Pingle.
