I don't know what the hells wrong with my bike this season but the rear tire is sliding all over the place....sideways into and out of corners,, spinning up like crazy on acceleration and the damn front wheel will NOT stay on the ground.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Did you have a snow flurry in the last week or so? If you did... there could still be a salt glaze coating still left on the road surface... especially if it hasn't rained since the time they treated the roads.

It was like that around here not too long ago.

Oh... and another thing... MY new Pilot Powers are going on in less than 24 hours.

The winter air tends to be heavier adding more unsprung weight to the bike. On acceleration that can cause the rear wheel to spin. If possible it is usually best to find summer air or nitrogen if summer air is not available in your region.

No! you have to break the bead to get all the winter air out. otherwise you will contaminate the new air you put back in

besides, even if you did break the bead + manage to remove ALL the winter air, refilling it at the gas station would be pointless because ALL stations currently use winter air + will continue to do so until JUNE 1st !!!!!!!

Your best bet if you don't have a tire changer and a compressor is go to the bike shop where you bought the bike. Most of them will change out the air for $5 per tire. I said most because some of them can't be bothered to help out riders after they leave their shop. It's still better then crashing because you neglected routine maintanance.

how bout this, Jay... until you get your tire issues sorted out, replace the restrictor balasts back into the injectors... i'm guessing you've already done that mod. Sounds like the rear wheel's just gettin too much juice for the traction available. This should make the power delivery a little smoother, helping w/ any wheel spin & front wheel lofting.

You guys are fuggin' idiots! Winter air...summer air?

What we have here is CLEARLY his failure to change the blinker fluid! You see, old blinker fluid can leak into the injectors, causing the bike to have crazy power surges, causing burnouts and unintentional wheelies.
