Bammfer, what model/size is your 76? If it's a 550, could you check the model/make of the carbs for me so I have a reference point?
it's a cb200.
i have a couple links at home where i was able to find some parts. have you checked ebay at all? might be able to find some stuff there as well.

Yeah, I did check ebay, but without knowing if I have the original carb bank it's tricky. This weekend I'm thinking Ill go through them again, adjust floats, follow what I can of my shitty PDF of a scanned manual for tuning, clean well and see what happens.
75/76 550 had different carbs IIRC
