    LED lights

    Hey All,

Just got an integrated tail light and mirrors with the LED blinkers for my '98 SuperHawk. I seem to remember hearing that if you change conventional lights over to LEDs you need a converter kit or something. Not an electrical guy here, please advise. Thanks in advance!!!

    Re: LED lights

You may need a couple resistors, one for each side, or else the bike will think there is a bulb out and flash the directionals rapidly because of the lower resistance the LEDs have versus the normal incandescents.

OK, Thanks Eric. Is that one resistor on each side on the front and the rear for each directional or are they installed off the switch and cover both front and rear?? What about the brake light? Will that require one as well??
