ive ridden on worse lol. i wore it so thin that it just lost air after taking off from a light.
The best advice I’ve ever been given is to not forget where you came from.
Do a burn out at night....shoots sparks and looks cool

Plus when you let your tires go near/past the wear bars, you can run into some serious trouble if you ever ride in the rain or are out and get stuck in the rain. Or if you hit a patch of sand. I have ridden my tires too far and almost paid many times because of it. I keep a close eye on both my tires now.

Just ordered the Conti Road Attack 2's (Sport Mileage) cause I've read basically nothing but good things about them. Can't wait to get them on sometime next week! I'm gonna avoid burning them out as I'd like to ride it to the place where I'm getting them swapped (<10 miles)... I'd do it myself but my current housing situation makes that difficult....![]()
this tire was still good for at least another 500 miles i believe.. kinda wanted to do a test and see how low it can really go

Conti road attack 2? Is that a typo? If not, where'd you get 'em? How much?Originally Posted by khuygie88
How much did you pay? How much are you going to have to pay to mount them? Are you anywhere near mass? If so I can guarentee you wont find a cheaper deal than Bomo where their price includes install. I got my pilot road 2's for 314 installed. I could have gotten the online for 250 shipped but at 25/tire for install its about the same price plus its less hassle..
I thought the road attack 2's were only available in europe right now??

Just as Cheese asked also. With any tire, being anal with tire pressure monitoring isn't a bad thing. See what your owner's manual recommends, and balance that with what the tire manufacturer recommends. I don't mean what is on the side of the tire either. I'd send an e-mail and get their recommendations for your bike and maybe riding style. Can't hurt.
I got 7000 miles out of a set of Michelin Pilot Powers {non 2CT}, that had seen 6 track days, and they still weren't on the wear bars.
Michelin will always suggest the rider use the pressure that is suggested in the manual.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

My bad then! From the reading I did I was under the impression that the Street attack sport mileage's were the 2's... As is obvious in this thread, I'm kinda new to the tire buying game
Anywho, I used the link for chippertheripper (thanks) and ordered them from Razee's locally (they match internet prices) and it'll cost me ~30 each to have them mounted sooooo around 300 out the door.
I was offered some help from Scottieducati with BOMO, but in terms of free time and wanting to get back on the road really quickly, I just went locally.
Thanks for all the help and input guys!
