    Question Plastic repair question??

    Does anyone know if there is a way to weld plastics that aren't horribly cracked.
    I heard someone talking about welding plastics once, but I didn;t know how that could be possible restoring the structural integrity of a cracked plastic...
    ANy thoughts /Wisdom?

    I'm still tryin to chill out. I was just wondering in case some shit happens in the future and I don't have the bread$$ for new plastics, and I was just curious to know if you could actually weld plastic with out it being half assed//////////P.S. I maybe a PUssy But I'm not a Bitch,,hehheheh (on my own bike) OOOOOOOOOOOhhhhh. Besides if I had to choose between being a pussy and a Dick I'll take the Pussy anyday...

    Chad, when you wrote, "plastic epoxy + fiberglass on the inside" Are you talking about the stuff you fix fiber glass car hoods and surf boards? The mesh that comes with a resin you slopp on it and sand down once it cures??Thanks

    YES------but you buy the fiberglas repair kit sold at a marine store (west marine) and it is easier to work with(no slopping it on) and comes out much easier!

    plastic epoxy is like glue for plastic
