I'll be heading up from the south shore area soon to see jim. PM me if you want to tag along, and throw your rims and tires in my truck.
Saw Jim this weekend, and got my powers mounted. He's a character all right...:hellyeah:
He also mentioned the next time I need tires to have them shipped to where he works and I can just ride up. You may want to ask him about this next time you head up...it would make things mucho easy...
hey this may have been answered somewhere else in this thread, but i didt have timt to read all the pages. where in nh is jim ocated. ill be coming from wareham (exit 1 on 495). name of a town would be great. thanks
got my tired mounted this morning and you all were right, jim is cool shit, definately knows his shit. said he works on cars, trucks, and bikes so im sure if you call him he can help you with that stuff too. seems like he upped his price a little bit, i brought bike with rims on and had him do just rear tire, he charged $25 for teh tire and $2.50 fore tire disposal, still a great deal and nice guy, wife seems very pleasant as well other than her trying to sell me a honda spree:fairy: :poke: , seriously im not a small guy and would look like a gorilla fu_ _ ing a football on that thing.
and of course i mentioned i was from NESR, which he then asked why it seems like everyone from this site has michelin's.... Karaya, you have any ideas why that is?:poke: :dunno:
called him this afternoon and didnt get a responce back yet, i am hoping that he can do em on short notice. my riding time is getting limited and i only have mondays of so if i dont get em done tomorrow im gonna have to wait another week. hopefully he will call me back tomorrow mornin
I am cheap but I would spring for this but I am 2 hours from the Jim
any chance he does tire changes on sundays?
I am now set up for tire changing at my house in Taunton.
pm or email me if you need tires changed.
$20 a rim off the bike including balancing and disposal.
On the bike, $28 per rim, but bring any specific tools for removing wheels (like the kawasaki hex tool for the front axle)
derek
Wooo Hooo I love new tires! Jim got me set up.. $30 and i was in and out in 22 minutes flat! :drink:
I just had Jim install my new rear Diablo Corsa and as usual his service excellent and he is entertaining! He also gave me my change entirely in dollar coins. :D

I haven't personally speakededed to him recently. But I know he's still at it. Again, be sure to tell 'em you're with NESR...Quote:

Hey, I just called and left Jim a message...has anyone gotten a massage while up there? The answering machine said I could schedule a "therapeutic massage or mechanical repair". Maybe I could kill 2 birds with one stone. :spank
