    Removing Chain Grease?

I put a new regina chain on my Duc over the winter and it has flung a massive amount of grease all over my nice gold marchesini. Does anyone have any methods to remove this stuff without damaging the finish on my wheel? I've scrubbed at it pretty hard using various soaps and the results are dismal at best.

Diesel fuel or kerosene will work too. Basically any petroleum based product will dissolve the grease. If you are really concerned about potential damage, Dawn dish soap is also a good degreaser. It just takes a bit longer to disolve stuff.

I use gas and a stiff brush. Not sure how well the finish of the wheels will hold up to it on yours, but it worked fine on mine.

Hope that Regina lasts longer than the one I bought. I was hugely disappointed with mine.
