    removing throttle?

So anyone here know how I can remove the throttle easily?
the housing on the right side that has the starter switch has
the throttle cables pass through it. I cant figure out how to
get the cables off the throttle tube without really ripping at them.

Doesnt seem to be enough slack to get the thing rotated enough to
    slip em out the slots.

    help!

There is an adjuster nut near the handlebar on one of the cables. Loosen that and see if it gives you enough room to pull the assy....if not, the next step is to roll the throttle "on" and grab ahold of the rear cable at the same time. This method can be tricky with certain bikes...not sure if your's is one of them.

First thing is to loosen that adjuster near the bars.

thanks man for the help... I just stood there long enough till I had that
miracle moment... I loosened all the adjusters till there was some slack, then got a zip tie under the cable and used that pull and guide the cable out through the release slot in the throttle tube. Man zip ties rule! Previously I was pulling with needle nose pliers and that was not nice to the cable.

So got the housing off. Soldered one loose wire connected to my starter switch and voila! Lights on my bike again !

Wrenching rocks when it works huh! Its the pits when it don't but when it all comes together its really good feeling!

No shoulda after all the work. I had a loose wire on the starter switch which
was causing my lights to not work. Took me a bit of work to figure this out though. Tore the front upper cowling off to change the relay, then took apart the high/low beam switch... then finally thought to try the starter switch.
