    Safety Wire...

I need to safety wire my front calipers and oil filter. Anyone close enough to Westford either want to lend me the pliers and I'll buy some wire off you OR Wanna come over and help, I'll supply the beer. ( and still pay you for the wire )

Caveat is I don't get home until after 8 mosts nights and Tuesday night is a not an option. I need this done by Wednesday June22.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Doug

I'll be in Pelham on Saturday. I'm not sure if that helps but I can bring safety wire and pliers.

I could also scoop that fairing stay off you as well!

Shep, for what it's worth, we don't require you to wire the calipers.
The oil filter we can do at the track. It'll take all of 5 minutes. Just bring a hose clamp big enough to go on the filter

Better yet, just buy a K&N filter with a safety wire nut.

    Re: Safety Wire...

Pete, I know you don't require. They are wired now and I have to change the pads, better safe than sorry. I remember an indecent where caliper bolts backed out, I am anal and do have to get up the next day for work...
Bergs, I work until 5 Saturday. Swing by for the fairing stay if you want.
Ted, I was handed the filter by the person who owns the bike, if I was buying I would have...
Thanks All, I knew NESR would stand up and help me out.

Oh, well if they're already drilled & ready to go, then it should take all of 5 minutes to do that as well I thought you needed to have the drilling done too!

If you wanna do it before the event to check off a couple items from the "to do" list, then go for it, but I wouldn't sweat it too much. Chances are I'll be able to help get ya set up in the morning before tech. If not, I'll make sure to find someone else that can. Either way, We've got ya covered

I can fall back on that, BUT I rather be all set and have no scrambling left to do.

    Re: Safety Wire...

Thanks to everyone who offered to help. I borrowed the appropriate pliers and wire from a NESRian last night. I'll be ready to rock by tomorrow evening.
