    Question Safety Wire Pliers?

My piece 'o shite Harbor Freight pliers finally completely died. I tried a couple of auto parts stores and got nothing but blank stares.

Any suggestions for finding a decent pair locally (Lowell area)? I'd like to finish my wiring tomorrow night if possible.

    Thanks,

How far north of boston are you? You could borrow my piece o shit HF pliers if you can't find a pair. I work in Newburyport 8-6ish and will be in Georgetown for a short period after that.

edit: um... you did say lowell area, didn't you. Whoops. I suppose that puts Tricky Mike a whole lot closer to you than me.

I bought a nice pair of the Milbar pliers to replace my aging, dying old pliers that still work ... the auto-wind was starting to flake out, but they're yours if you want them.

I got my set of Milbar's at Sears hardware of all places, they were about 100 bucks but they did have them...this was awhile ago.

    No OK,

most shops that carry dirt bike shit have them for wiring on muddy grips, i got a decent set of moose ones for like 40 bucks at motorbikes pluss. (is there a pun in there somewhere?)

Thanks for the answers and offers everyone!

I'm gonna ride to Woohstah tomorrow and get some cheapos at Harbor Fright. For $7 each, I'll buy a few and hopefully by the time the all break I'll feel better about springing for a good pair.

I'll be at the TTD next week. If anyone wants a pair, ping me and I'll buy extra.
