Shorai charger to borrow this weekend?

My wired transponder killed the shit outta my race bike Shorai battery. I'd like to try the factory balance charger before I give it the heave ho. Would anyone be at the track this weekend who might have a charger???

Same spot I'm normally at, top row in the infield under the orange KTM pop up. I'll let you know tomorrow if I can't find the charger, but I'm pretty sure I know where it is.

Ok I found it so I will definitely bring it down. I'll probably be down there around 10 tonight.

I'll be there hopefully by 7pm, will have my Ballistic charger handy. I *think* the Shorai balance port pinout is different than Ballistic's so I won't be able to balance charge but I can push 5A though that puppy if needed to bring it back to life.

A little lithium in our diet should help keep us calm and collected come race time Sunday too.

can I borrow it for a bit. I wanna see if I can charge the one I killed earlier this year leaving my transponder plugged in. and my current one was acting funny on monday. sometimes giving a really weak crank then a minute later it would fire right up no problem.

I was gonna buy one from Miles but it had a tag of $100+ when I thought it was like $80 or so last time I looked and its $80 on their website.

It's $85ish MSRP, but then you've got to figure shipping so... Miles isn't in the weeds if he's asking $100 for it right at the track.

Thanks WinVT for the charger loan! I thought it worked as the battery was 13.7V after charging overnight, but it has dropped to 10.5V while unhooked in the week since. Lithium was an expensive experiment, guess I'll stick with the lead acid brick I robbed from my other bike for the rest of this year.

FWIW: "Shorai recommends NOT using a charger/tender if it has an automatic "desulfation mode," which cannot be turned off. Shorai has confirmed with Deltran, makers of the "Battery Tender" brand, that their products do NOT have a desulfation mode, and are therefore OK for use with Shorai LFX.
