I've had a problem recently where my headlights just stop working (Hi's, Lo's, everything). I took apart the whole starter case on the right bar and found that the piece of metal that's embedded in the plastic of the actual button is bent on one side, so it fails to complete the circuits for lights/starter.
I've bent the metal back and as long as there's pressure pushing down on the connections from above (stuck some folded paper and electric tape in there), it works.
Does anyone have a spare piece I could buy, or know where I could get one without buying a whole new setup?
(I'll post up some pictures, since my description sucks - pictures are now attached)
