    Starter or ground?

Trying to get my VF1000r going. Got a couple slow turns out of the starter and it showed signs of life but now I just hear the relay click.

Is there an easy way to see if it's the starter itself or a shit ground?

Before you dig into the harder to check items, are you sure your battery is good?

    Wasn't even electrical.

Last time I tried to get the VF running I put some gas in the tank. Today it cranked over a few times then wouldn't crank anymore. Tank is empty!

Gas is getting by the float needles and hydrolocking it so I ordered 4 carb kits. Can't wait to pull them off - not. I forgot how cramped Honda V4 are.

Ha, you should try push starting a hydro locked racebike at the track just before the race in the heat. Rear wheel doesn't even turn. Pretty amazing that principal of hydraulics.

Turns out fluids really don't compress at all.
