    starter repair

    Ok, no help needed here. Just wanted to say that re-assembling a starter requires 3 hands and a prehensile tail. All back together and spinning up strong, but not without some shouting in french.

    The moral of the story: Do not take apart your starter alone. parts are spring loaded and strong magnets are present. You won't even get a look at what it is supposed to like...
