Not sure if this picture is clear enough to describe the damage however it looks like my rearset is straight and that the metal tabs that are welded to the frame have bent a couple of degrees. Once I'm up and moving around a little bit better, I'll get a dial gauge reference from the good side and report back the delta. Although I could guess that it's 3-5 degrees off parallel.
Seems to me that may be a weak link on the frame of the Ducati.
I'm just not certain what the best resolution is:
- Take a long pipe and gently bend the mounts back? Should I apply heat?
- Bring the bike to Seacoast and have them weld new mounts on the frame?
- Leave it as is and break my leg to match the new angle?
As always, thanks for opinions!
