Blew the shock on my RG250 yesterday, and the forks are also pretty much shot. I'd like to upgrade both while they're apart. I'd also like to explore an upgraded/replacement shock that might drop in to replace the air shock.
Ideally looking for someone between Boston and Portsmouth, but I'll travel if it's worth it.
I got the WP shock & fork springs for my V-strom at Factory Connections, in Barrington, NH https://www.factoryconnection.com/
not cheap

Computrack Boston would be the go-to, unfortunately outside of your search path.
Does Factory Connection do street/sport? They are in Barrington, NH. No personal experience.
Computrack could definitely work. I didn't think Factory Connection did street stuff, but doesn't seem like that big of a stretch. Their rebuild prices seem reasonable.
I have used Factory Connection twice for dirt rebuilds. They were not cheap but the service was great; they even let me send them a set of forks directly from some eBay seller so they could scavenge the stanchions.

I just bought my stuff from them, AFIK, they do not service street bikes, but can get you shocks, springs, valves, etc., I had my local dealer, Rochester Motorsports, install the shock, and forksprings & valve, there was an issue with the shock, came setup as a mirror immage (reservoir on wrong side) and Factory Connections made a house call so to speek, they sent one of their techincians 6 miles up the road to RMS and fixed the issue.
I just showed up at their door and asked if they could get me a shock for my V-strom, they made a call to somebody in Austria, with my weight, etc. a couple weeks later a custom WP (5 way adj.) shock arrives from the Netherlands , did I say it wasn't cheap. I coulda got a Penske for half what I paid for the WP, even Ohlins was less

Another vote for GMD. When I brought my bike in for basic service a few years ago, he had a bunch of custom suspension projects he was working on. Not simply installing kits. Re-engineering suspension. I was impressed. Dropping my r1 off on Friday for new shock and fork internals.
Computrack Boston.

Any recommendations for southwestern/central-ish NH? I've got an Ohlins shock that I need a new spring put on, and I think the preload collar is seized.
I would do it myself but I'm the reason the preload collar isn't moving so...

This is for my CRF.
What I'd like done is not exactly rocket science, but I also do need someone somewhat knowledgeable with offroad suspension as I want a better idea of where to start with preload. Adjusting the preload when installed on the CRF is a huge pain in the ass and impossible with the provided spanner, and trying to adjust the preload off the bike is also next to impossible without a fixture, especially so when I get this heavy duty spring installed.

Oh. Fc would be my recommendation. They did great work on my 300 Ktm.
Your year Honda isn't listed but see if you can find this for your bike it should make adjusting easier

Those are nice
C Cycle in CT is excellent for dirt bikes, my CRF was done by them and it works excellent. Just southeast of Hartford, pretty easy to just box it up and ship to him.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Sounds like Computrack! I talked to FC and they don't touch street bikes, which surprised me. Thanks all!
