    SV Safety Wire Question

I just installed a new exhaust on my first gen SV and I am looking for the best way to safety wire the nuts on the rear header bolts. Do I need to pull the shock? Or maybe the tank? This looks like it can be a real pain to get to and I was hoping someone might have a trick for this.

the easiest way would be to pull the tank...at least take ou the hinge bolts so you can lift the tank and prop it up with the fuel lines still attatched.

Thanks to Derek and Bob Poetzsch, I have tank hardware now!! And with a good deal on svrider, I was able to replace my beer can/barb wire exhaust too!

I think I did mine with most everything in-tact and on the bike. I don't recommend it - it was a real pain in the ass and took longer than it should have. Removing the tank sounds like a solid idea.
