    tips for splitting the case?

    on a kawasaki zr-750 c1?

    it's a clamshell (top/bottom) style case, and we have an air hammer/chisel, but haven't given it a shot yet. Anybody have any experience or tips that might help?

    tips for splitting the case?

    It's Japanese motorcycle, you should never ever,ever, ever need an air chisle or hammer, sounds like you forgot a bolt. Double check every thing. You may need just a slight tap with a dead blow hammer to break the bond, but no more than a tap. If you need more help[, bring it down and I'll split them for you. Cases are big mopney.....

    it's actually not mine, it's a friend's, but I'm going to help out. Good to know that we shouldn't need to hit it with the heavy tools...
