If you like Dunlop's, Chapparrel will send you a set of 207's for about $200. I just got a set of Pirellies from MAW, $260 to my door.![]()

I just ordered 2 tires from discountmotorcycletire.com and they were the cheapest for price and also freight! Someone already posted a positive in the dealer section of the forum so I figured I try em out. I will let you know if ok!

I checked out both of these sites. With the age of my bike(narrower tires) the only thing I could find was the Avon AV35/36. Does anybody have any experience with these??

I am running the Azaro II' (AV35 &AV36) on my SV, I'm on about my 6th set, I like them, they are a sport touring compound, but still they stick adequately for street riding, better than MeZ4's or Dunlop 205's
What I like about them most is that they stay round they haven't flattened out the center like other tires I have run, nor has the front cupped, there is not much difference in handling between a new set and a worn out set.
I have been getting 4500-6500 rear and 8000-10000 front, I run max 42lb rear and 37front, the Avon web site says that you will loose 10% milage for every 2lbs you drop the air pressure.
I will be replacing my rear this week, I did 1500 continuous high speed interstate miles (doing my saddlesore 1000 & bunburner 1500) and theres barely a noticable flat spot in rear.

I ordered a set of 207's from Tire Express , and am totally impressed. It took a day longer to get 'em than they said it'd take, but that usually happens up at my place for some reason. Price was $218 delivered, the cheapest I found when I placed the order...
Sounds like I'm a bit late though...![]()
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Randy,
What are you paying for those tires.
I just put M1's on the Mille Yesterday, and Dunlop 220's on the Futura a few weeks ago. No good saddle time on the M1's but the D-220's seem very nice VS's the MEZ4's, time will tell .......

not exactly sure Steve, I suspect this Saturday I will owe the dealer $275 total for my 60k service (valve adj, carb sync, plugs, oil & filter, check bolts, cables etc.) and a rear tire mounted & balanced
I hate to say this, but I don't pay too much attention to costs, my dealer treats me right (even though they totally fucked Stoneman)

Jay's going to check out a new wrench anyway.
I just had a valve job, plugs, bolts, cables adjust, etc for $118. I dropped the bike off on Monday night, called Wed. morn to find out if he could have it done by Friday after work, "Finished your bike ten minutes ago, pick it up when you want".
