Decent tire gauge

Maybe it doesn't exist but I want it all - wondering if anyone has found the holy grail. I am not afraid to spend but don't want to drop $300.

I have had many over the years but they all let me down eventually. Wants are accurate, durable, ability to attach to the compressor and read live as it goes. This will be for the garage and not portable. Also need a 90 on the end option so I can access difficult spots. Lastly my van runs 80 psi so range at least that high. Waddya got??

For fillers, I ordered this one years ago and am actually very happy with it. The gauge is surprisingly accurate (filler gauges never seem to be).

And for checking, sounds kinda silly but this is the one I always recommend for good accuracy and a really low cost. I carry this one on my bike for airing down.

It's exactly the same one I've used from Snapon for 15 years as a pro for 1/3 the price. In that time I've had to replace the hose once and replace the valve once. Comes with both the clip on end or dual foot. Zeroes when you turn it on. Inflates and deflates. Mine is so old it reads in 0.5psi increments. I bought a newer one for home maybe 5 years ago and it reads in 0.1psi.

These have always been a good gauge for me however I just looked quickly and they don't have anything that goes to the pressure you are looking for. Figured I'd throw it here in case someone looking for a good gauge that is below 60PSI might look at this thread.

In my completely unscientific research I came to the conclusion after a few beers and some youtube videos that I'd rather have an accurate gauge than the ability to use it on the compressor. I ended up with a Longacre 4" analog liquid filled gauge. Cost about 120$ and comes with a hard padded case. Overall it seems extremely accurate and it's nice to not be guessing any longer with the cheap parts store counter gauges.

They do have one that will go to 80/100 lbs.

Gives consistent readings in comparison to Kurtz's in the Pirelli garage, didn't cost an arm and a leg, and I don't feel bad about just tossing it in my toolbox.

Why is accuracy so important? Just curious.

I'd rather have something where I can just get a relatively close pressure from the compressor.

Rear lift bags in my truck need 5lbs minimum in the system. The lines and bags in system only make up a very small volume so being at 5psi is important. 10psi will inflate the bags and contribute to a rougher ride and raise the rear end a little. They really need to be at exactly 5 for daily driving with no weight.

Oh geez that's super low. That's similar in pressure to what I run in my fat bike tires. I have a special gage made for low pressure under 8psi to be accurate.

I have something like this but the issue for you would be the valve type. This is specifically for presta and I'm not seeing anything similar for schrader.

How accurate does it need to be? Would a 0-20 PSI gauge suffice?
