    Vibration in throttle grip?

Made my first long ride today, and the only real issue I had was when cruising, a good portion of the time the hand grip for the throttle vibrated like hell, and occasionally the foot pegs would be vibrating as well. I couldnt feel any vibration through the seat, or the left clip-on whatsoever, nor through my knees while grasping the tank.

I dont know the complete service history of the bike, I'm going to have it brought in for a tune-up and have the entire bike looked over in the not so distant future, but for my own sake, is there anything in particular I should look at? I dont so much mind the foot vibration, thats few and far between, but the damn throttle grip was vibrating to the point that my hand and fingers were constantly going numb when it started doing it.

Only thing I really checked while out riding was to see if there was any free play in the wheel bearings, and checked tire pressure, but both looked good, so didnt know where else to go from there. Is it possible the right clip-on is loose?

Basically where to start or what to look at for troubleshooting this?

    Bike is a 95 FZR600 btw.

I agree! All engines have a certain RPM range where vibrations will resonate through the bike. For me it is around 4500-5000 which is a fast highway cruise speed.

Gell grips or gell gloves can help a lot!

    Vibration in throttle grip?

Ok, so nothing totally out of the ordinary. I noticed it mostly between 4-5500 rpm in 2nd and 3rd gear, once I got it up above 6-7k cruising, it smoothed right out.

I probably never noticed it before because the gloves I was using previously were alot more padded in the fingers and palms. (ie. HOT as hell).

    Vibration in throttle grip?

well how big's your bike? i've got a 600 and when i'm on the highway i'm usually cruising at around 90, which i could leave my bike in 5th but that would be running it at around 8-9k, which to me makes no sense so i just drop into 6 and bring it down to around 7k.

    Sheesh.

I have a 600 as well. You must have short as hell gearing, or I just havent really gone that fast yet, because crusing at 7k in 3rd I'm going 60mph.
