    Re: Washing the bike

I dunno if anyone mentioned this, but dry it with an electric leafblower. I have the kind that is part of a shopvac (home depot ridgid type). and that IMO is the best way to dry, blows all sneaky water from crevices, holes, whatnot, then do last once over with soft, lint free cloth, and S100, Honda Spray stuff (forgot what it's called now), or whatever spray wax/cleaner you shine your nob with.

But the leafblower, I'm serious. Best way for sure.....

Yeah..... be sure to use a cotton swab or something so you can get all the way down into the treads.

    WD-40 on the wheels.
Pledge for the rest... it works great, is cheaper than s100/Honda polish and smells lemony fresh.

Rinse the bike off good, don't let the simple green or soap sit on anything for more than 15-20 seconds.
Air dry it with an electric leaf blower.
WD the chain after every wash
Wax the bodywork every 3rd or 4th wash
I don't do it all too often but I'm about the same as Mark.
Things like Honda Polish and Plexus ain't good if you have
dirt on the bike. You're just gonna grind it in. Only water and some mild
soap is gonna get it off without damage.

One of those waxy California dust brushes is good between washes
    to get any dirt off.

I use an air compressor gun to get the water out of the chain then lube.
