What's a good multi-compound tire?

Road Smarts. The Pilot PR2's are supposed to be of Chinese mfg now, so when I flip the tires off the C-14, it's Road Smarts. They're getting 8500 miles on a rear and around 10K on the fronts on C-14s. It's a pretty heavy bike with a lot of slab mileage, so that ain't too shabby.

I tried the Road Smarts, I only got about 5000 miles front and rear with my weak little ZX9R and matronly riding style. I now have about 2500 miles on some Pilot PR2's and they seem to be wearing like iron. They do slip a little more when leaned over at the edges than the Road Smarts though. Wet traction is excellent with either.
