Who you been givin' rides to?
They fill them boxes to waterproof them. I'm guessing that one wasn't filled the best.
That or stop picking up the sketchy women
I think its aight
I like the name of the picture file.
lol yeah i was wondering if anyone would pick up on that stoinky.
so far my buddies reaction has been my favorite;
"Thats perfectly normal, they cast all new electronics in resin then rollthem around gravel driveways from the factory now."
Oh and needless to say its cooked. I ohmed it out and i'm getting like 2-300 kohms where its supposed to be getting like 100 or even 9 in some places. This is actually good news for me my bike has been running iffy since i got it, and the past season it was near unridable. After about 4 friggin years now i can actually ride a bike that works right lol.

That looks pretty gnarly, Dave. Hopefully a new CDI will bring an end to your electrical problems with the bike.
DAVE!!
So Ive been spending so much time in the maintenance forum that when I found this last night I just posted it her. Mods feel free to move this if you feel it should be.
Slyder thanks for the tip. I just realized your in NH now. Definately have to meet up once the beast is running again.
Ross you may actually be able to show me the local roads soon lol.
And bergs. You never call me back. You no love me nemoar?
Yeah I'm really looking forward to seeing how the bike acts with a working ignition system.
yeaup i almost shat myself when you sent me that pic last night... does Em know thats not contagious to get from the bike?! lol
Slyder, Rosco, Bergs, etc... we are gonna be gettin some killer riding in this season you are more than welcome to join us
Haven't looked at this one for a few days...but ya. Concord NH now. My bike is still in VT, have to get it down here sometime soon. I might get a cover for it and keep it out back, still skeptical on that one though.
When I got my bike every price of steel on it was pristine, it was garage kept. I don't have a garage. Every nut and fastener is starting or already rusting. Spots on the fork tubes etc. If you can garage it do it if not try to get one of those portable garages.
Oh and did I mention I found a Vance and Hines power pak? Yeah it pulls hard now lol.
Always. It wasn't a cheap one either.
This wasn't immediate ether its over the course of about 3 or 4 years. But even so 10 years of rust free garaging versus 4years of exposure... I want to pick up one of those modular bike garages when I get some free cash.

Ride On,
Todd W.
Pretty sure Dave just hase a horsehoe wedged really deep in his ass that lucky bahstahd lol
That's pretty much the gist of it. I got on Google and searched for a cdi when I found out kawi doesn't have any anymore. Within the first 5 listings was drum hill cycle in Nashua with that part. Not only that it was listed as 200 on the web but when I got there I was a little skeptical of buying it with no possibility of returning so the guy gave it to me for 160 lol.
Oh yeah this is also following me picking up a completely unused in box fox shock for this bike plus case covers for about 250.
