    2016 LRRS Round 1 - Roland Arsenault #763

    Had a very good first weekend of the season!

    Practiced on Friday and signed up for everything I could which is 7 races. Podiumed in 5 of them and took the win in Amateur 125GP.

    Highlights:

    - 2nd in Amateur GTL! (I would typically finish towards the end in this one)
    - Win in Amateur 125GP while battling with some of the experts.
    - 5th place finishes in the races full of SVs (LWGP and ULSB)
    - New PB of 1:24.286 in ULSB
    - Briefly was ahead of all the experts in ULGP (Wild Bill didn't let me stay ahead of him for long!)

    Bummer:

    - T-boning the tire wall in T3 while trying to avoid a downed rider in Sunday morning practice. Bike and rider were relatively OK and I was able to be competitive in the rest of the day's races.

    All the ice and dirt riding are helping! Sounds like a great one Roland. I too have tboned the wall in 3. Good thing those tires are soft!

    Great job Roland, except for the balls to the wall thing Was great to see you in the rain on Sunday, you were going really good. But I couldn't let you stay there, you would never let me hear the end of it LOL.
