Awesome start to 2010!

LWSB - 7th
Had a great battle with Bill Tansey and Chris Cucinotta. The three of us were nose to tail for a large portion of the race with Bill at the front of the train. Bill was tough to pass and gave me some trouble, but Chris shoved his way through and left Bill & I to sort things out. I finally made the pass in turn 1 and finished 7th out of 16 starters. Bill joked after the race that my pass on him couldn't have been closer.... I took a super wide entry and left him probably 30 feet of space when I made that pass


Pirelli Diablo Challenge - 1st
Surprisingly, only THREE entries for this race; John Tansey, James Borzelli from RSP racing and myself. John got an awesome start and took the holeshot. I stayed on his rear wheel for a few laps, then made a pass into T1. I put some space between us, then conserved as much energy as I could as LWSS was the very next race. I walked away for the win & put 300 bucks in my pocket HUGE thanks MTAG and Pirelli!


LWSS - 6th
Great start, 1:22.9 out-lap. Kept the lead pack in sight for most of the race. Cucinotta was on my ass the whole time and we traded spots a once or twice but I edged him out & took a very hard fought 6th of 11 starters with a 1:19 flat.


LWGP - 4th
I got a great start and was 2nd for the first lap and a half behind Todd Babock. Doucette passed me on lap 2, then Nate Mendell powered passed me going down the front straight. I re-passed him going into T1 but a lap later he powered past me again a lap later and his Duc was too much to fend off. Victor Landau and his 250 gave me a run for my money on the last few laps but I held him off as well & took 4th of 10 starters to end the weekend.



Best lap time of the weekend - 1:19.016... less than 2 tenths off my personal best. Very happy.

You're a blast to watch out there, Pete! Honestly, watching you and Tansey dice in the timed practice for the Pirelli Diablo 600 Challenge was pretty entertaining, but you definitely had the power set to 8/10ths there, cause when the race came you were OFF. Congrats on that $300!!

Thanks Gino! Yeah I fell my T3 feels pretty strong, I just need to carry that speed THROUGH the turn... my T3 mid-corner needs some work.
