    771 Racing - 2014 starts with a squish

No big drawn out sappy mechanical bromance novelization for this one. This year we started with all the bad weather we skipped out on in 2013.

By the numbers, not a good performance on my part. Three 5ths and a 4th, and lap times struggling to stay under 2 minutes in the GTL are nothing to write home about. Considering the circumstances though, and the fact that I put points on the board when many others decided to bail, it's good forward progress if I care about an AM class championship at all. Plus, the Butler BBQ makes everything better.

So, no mechanical issues, no crashes, trailer life rocks, look forward to partying in the sun next month with everyone!

Holy awesome! Surf over to http://www.nhms.com/events/lrrs/ and go to the results tab. Surf to a random race and click on a rider. You'll get pre-generated text ala:

I didn't realize I was ripping 'em up with barely sub 2 minute lap times!

Oh, and Roland, that says you suck.

    I prefer this one...

"Roland Arsenault today ripped out the fastest timed lap in the Amateur Ultralight Superbike race at NHMS, part of the April 26th round of LRRS's 2014 championship.

Arsenault pushed his #763 The Dark Side Honda RS125, definitively crossing the line in third place, after a close race where his position changed several times. At the end of the race, Arsenault powered through the finish line 0.514 seconds behind Rick Kaeser and a distant 13.292 seconds ahead of Joshua Coombs.
Arsenault ripped out a jaw-dropping timed lap of 01:38.008, also the fastest timed lap of the race. His average laptime was 01:45.317, slower than his career average at NHMS of 01:34.641."

Thank you for the link Josh, I didn't know the great unwashed non-licensees could see the results! Is that copy written by algorithm or some poor long suffering intern?

If it's a long suffering intern, I'll buy them an extra ration of bread and water for the entertainment that find provided.
